Get Answers/Deepen Understanding

Truth and Lies
Oftentimes questions about the Catholic faith press upon us, either from others or even from ourselves.  In these times we may need greater clarity about what the Catholic faith proclaims and why.  Truth and Lies is a time to explore the questions of what the Catholic Church teaches and why, so that the wisdom of God may be more fully written upon our hearts.

"Why is there evil in the world?" "What does the pope have to do with the gospel?" "Why are Catholics obsessed with Mary?" "Why do we need sacraments?" "Does God care if I go to mass?" "Is Jesus the only way to God?" These and other questions will be discussed in Truth and Lies this year.

Truth and Lies meets every Thursday at 12:30pm in the Private Dining Room connected to the dining area within Newman Hall.  No need to commit to coming every week - attend whatever topics you please.
